Here is how our last week of school (before March Break) will look!
1. Literacy- students will receive 5 new words this week. Homework is due Friday and the spelling test is on Friday as well.
We have been looking at quotation marks for the past week and a half. Students are getting the hang of how to use them. I will continue giving them practice sheets to reinforce the concept.
Tomorrow I will be introducing dictionary skills.
2. Math- we have been looking at fractions of a whole and fractions of a set. Students are picking up on the concepts quite quickly.
3. Science- we continue looking at forces. This week we will focus on friction.
Other News
1. We start La Semaine de la Francophonie - we are asking that all students wear white and green tomorrow.
2. Tuesday- is Pizza day
3. Popcorn day- Friday- $1 for a bag of great popcorn!!!
4. Magician presentation - Friday
5. Sibling Picture day- Thursday
