Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a restful holiday and are back full of energy.
Your child will be coming home with several sheets today.
Here is how it should be looked at.
Homework- this week we are on lesson 13 and there is a math sheet as well.
Math assessment- 2 assessments were done the week before Christmas, they are in the homework book. Please take a moment and sign each one.
Homework is due on Friday as usual.
Spelling test is also on Friday.
Multiplication chart- please keep this copy at home. I encouraged the kids to place it somewhere they can refer to it often. Play some math games with it. KEEP THIS SHEET AT HOME. Students have a second copy in their math books.
I will be giving them a multiplication test each Friday. The first test will be January 17th and it will focus on the 2 times tables.
Old Befana- today we discussed the Epiphany and what it meant. Students have a poem in both English and Italian in their bags about the Befana- have them read it to you! They also wrote a letter of kindness to someone in their lives. They were very excited to share who they were giving their letters to.
Book orders- January order is due Jan 15th
